The Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia (INFO) is particularly committed to the protection of personal data. For this reason, it has aligned its entire structure with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council on the protection of personal data (hereinafter, “GDPR”), as well as Organic Law 3/2018, December 5th, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights.

Data subjects whose personal data is processed by the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia (INFO) (hereinafter, the “Users”) are hereby informed that if they contact INFO through any of its portals (hereinafter, the “Website”) or any similar means to request information, advice, training, or other services provided by INFO, the data provided will be processed solely for the purpose of managing the response to such communication. The information will never be processed for purposes other than those for which it was collected.

The User declares that all data provided is true and correct and agrees to keep it updated, notifying INFO of any changes.

PURPOSES OF THE DATA PROCESSING

The processing of personal data collected through the Website will depend on the data collection form used by the User. However, if this Privacy Policy is referenced in any form, the data will be processed for the purposes specified therein. In particular, the following purposes are noteworthy:

Purpose 6. Sending information about events and services related to INFO, provided the User has given their consent.
Purpose 7. Managing training activities, workshops, and seminars for companies or entrepreneurs.
Purpose 8. Developing technological projects aimed at improving business competitiveness through the effective implementation of digital technologies.
Purpose 9. Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy.
Purpose 10. Managing access to and use of the different INFO portals.
Purpose 11. Performing statistical analysis of visits to the Website.

LEGAL BASIS

The processing of personal data may be based on:

• User’s consent for purposes 2, 7, and 9. Such consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing prior to its withdrawal, by emailing: protecciondatosINFO@info.carm.es
• Compliance with to legal obligation or the performance of to task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the data controller for purposes 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 11, in accordance with Law 9/2006, of November 23, of the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia. Failure to provide the required data or information may result in the inability to provide the requested service.

The retention period of personal data will depend on the specific processing purpose:
Data will be kept in our systems for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and to determine any liabilities that may arise from that purpose and the data processing. The applicable regulations on records and documentation will apply.

No automated decisions are made. 

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

No international data transfers will be carried out.
